Voice of Truth

Oh, what I would do to have
the kind of faith it takes
To climb out of this boat I'm in
Onto the crashing waves
To step out of my comfort zone
Into the realm of the unknown
Where Jesus is,
And he's holding out his hand

But the waves are calling out my name
and they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
time and time again
"Boy, you'll never win,
you'll never win."

But the voice of truth tells me a different story
the voice of truth says "do not be afraid!"
and the voice of truth says "this is for my glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

Oh, what I would do
to have the kind of strength it takes
To stand before a giant
with just a sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound
of a thousand warriors
shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

But the giant's calling out
my name and he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
time and time again
"Boy you'll never win,
you'll never win."

But the voice of truth tells me a different story
the voice of truth says "do not be afraid!"
and the voice of truth says "this is for my glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

But the stone was just the right size
to put the giant on the ground
and the waves they don't seem so high
from on top of them looking down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
when I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
singing over me

But the voice of truth tells me a different story
The voice of truth says "do not be afraid!"
And the voice of truth says "this is for my glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me (calling out to me)
I will choose to listen and believe (I will choose to listen and believe)
I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

I will listen and believe
I will listen and believe the voice of truth
I will listen and believe
'Cause Jesus you are the voice of truth
And I will listen to you.. oh you are

Endurance \En*dur"ance\, n.

1. A state or quality of lasting or duration; lastingness; continuance.

2. The act of bearing or suffering; a continuing under pain or distress without resistance, or without being overcome; sufferance; patience.

"Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

~ Hebrews 12:1-3 (emphasis mine)
There's only one way to run a race, keep your eyes focused on the goal.

Wars are coming. None can steal my joy. As 2009 ushers in, promise and excitement surround all the doom and gloom. Unusual, but not crazy to those who understand -- those who are sanctified, enduring, rejoicing...

Praise and Glory to the King!

God is good.

All the time!
All the time!

God is good, so good, so good!

Shout it from the mountaintops!
Makes me dance on the roof!
His ways and thoughts I can not comprehend
All I know is He is so, so good!

Surely goodness and love follow me all my days.

The Good Shepherd | Ang Mabuting Pastol

Ang sarap ng pakiramdam
nang may pinapasahan

Bawat takot, bawat hinanakit
bawat galit, bawat lungkot may karamay...

Ang sarap ng pakiramdam nang may nagmamahal
Nakaakap at nakabalot sa piling Nya
at kahit ano pa ang mangyari, salo ka Nya

Hesus

Kung nagiisa at nalulumbay
Dahil sa hirap mong itinataglay
Kung kailangan mo ng karamay
Tumawag ka at Siya'y naghihintay

Siya ang iyong kailangan,
Sandigan, Kaibigan mo

In Awe of God

Burst of Light
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
      Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress,
      My God, in whom I trust!"

Rhema

The second primary Greek word that describes Scripture is
rhema, which refers to a word that is spoken and means “an utterance.” A rhema is a verse or portion of Scripture that the Holy Spirit brings to our attention with application to a current situation or need for direction.

In the regular course of our daily reading of God’s Word (logos), we need to ask God to speak to us through His Word and give us insight into it. The Holy Spirit can cause certain passages to stand out with significant meaning or application for our lives. These are the rhemas of Scripture and should become a part of our daily thoughts and actions.

I Cling to the Cross

Cling to the cross and everything it means
I know it's the only hope there is for saving me
For without Your great mercy
I would be forever lost
With a thankful heart I come
And cling to the cross

Standing at the empty tomb
Promises I have in You arise
I was made alive in You
Everything You said was true
You suffered, died, and rose to bring us life

I cling to the cross and everything it means
I know it's the only hope there is for saving me
For without Your great mercy
I would be forever lost
With a thankful heart I come (Jesus I come)
With a thankful heart I come
With a thankful heart I come and cling to the cross

The world behind me, the cross before me
The world behind me, the cross before me
The world behind me, the cross before me
No turning back, no turning back

Finally, finally...completing the song!

Rejoice! Take Heart

Healing and Deliverance

To those who have experienced this, you would understand. To those who have not, it begins with your cry to God for help,"Lord, Save Me!"

Ezekiel 47:8
Then he said to me: “This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. (NKJV)

Then he said to me, “This river flows east through the desert into the valley of the Dead Sea. The waters of this stream will make the salty waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure. (NLT)

Lord, I want to be whole...heal me...deliver me!

The goal of deliverance is wholeness *

It is easy to think of the deliverance ministry as a quick-fix... simply casting out demons takes away all of a person's bondages. The ministry of deliverance is often a process which involves more than simply driving out the demons. There are usually strongholds to be torn down. Since strongholds are incorrect thinking patterns, this is done through the renewing of your mind according to the Word of God. There is often inner healing that needs to take place as well. I cannot stress how important it is to pursue an intimate relationship with the Lord once you have been delivered. If you neglect your relationship with God, the enemy would be more than happy to begin finding ways to cause you to lose your newfound freedom.

The purpose of deliverance is to receive freedom from any hindrances in your life that would keep you from walking in the fullness of God's plan for your life and your relationship with Him. Deliverance is only for believers.

Prism |<>| Face to Face with Evil

For things we do not fathom
Evil, pain, distress, suffering in this world
Things our human minds can not comprehend
Things our hearts can not accept
Hideous, disgusting, unjust, and oppressive things
We ask "why, why, why?"

Though I ache
I have found the answer that quiets my soul
An answer that humbles me
I am awed and ever grateful...

For no reason but His glory.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We witness evil everyday, we see it all the time in the news. But until it strikes and personally affects us, only then do we realize the hideousness of what we know we abhor. We ponder and ask, why? Why has God allowed it? Why? Why?
(Romans 9:11-23) "11Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad --in order that God's purpose in election might stand: not by works but by HIM who calls--...14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15For He says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. 18Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden... 23What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory--"
Not because of anything we do or can do, nor is it because of our desire, our strength, our weakness, our effort nor our choice. But because of our sovereign GOD, only by His choice. Because of who He is...faithful, good, and strong. God does things for a purpose.
To all of those have stood against disobeying God, be reminded, we do not stand because we choose to, we stand because of HIS mercy.
Understand, all these things are for His glory.
When I Think About the Lord
by Hillsong
When I think about the Lord
How He saved me
How He raised me
How He filled me with the Holy Ghost
How He healed me to the uttermost
When I think about the Lord
How He picked me up and turned me around
How He placed my feet on solid ground
It makes me wanna shout,
"Hallelujah! Thank you, JESUS!
Lord, you're worthy of all the glory and all the honor and all the praise!"
It makes me wanna shout,
"Hallelujah! Thank you, JESUS!
Lord, you're worthy of all the glory and all the honor and all the praise!"
For the joy of the Lord is our strength...and His peace, that transcends all understanding, our fortress.
To God, Jesus, our Lord, be the glory!
